The Pomodoro Technique is also known as the Tomato Technique — "pomodoro" is Italian for tomato, named after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Francesco Cirillo used as a university student. It's the most widely known focus method for anyone looking for short, effective 25-minute work blocks.
A long break is taken every 4 sessions.
