Is my data saved? Will it disappear if I close the browser?

Your data is stored in your browser's local storage, so it will still be there the next time you open the same browser on the same device. If you switch to a different device or browser, the data won't appear there, because it isn't sent to any server unless you sign in.

How many income/expense entries can I add?

There's no limit — add as many income and expense entries as you need. If you add multiple expenses with the same name, they're automatically grouped into a single slice on the pie chart.

What does it mean if my net balance is negative?

A negative balance means your total expenses for that period exceeded your total income — in other words, your budget is running a deficit. Check the expense breakdown chart to see where you might be able to cut back.

Can I use this for a period other than a month?

The tool doesn't enforce any specific date range; you can use it to track a weekly, monthly, or yearly budget — what matters is that the entries you add all represent the same period.
